GRuB Mission Statement

"We inspire positive personal and community change by bringing people together around food and agriculture.

We partner with youth and people with low-incomes to create empowering individual and community food solutions.

We offer tools and trainers to help build a just and sustainable food system. "

In winter of 2012, a group of CIRAL students made a connection with GRuB in hopes of establishing a basis for future collaboration. Kerensa Mabwa, GRuB's outreach coordinator expressed that the best way to start building this relationship would be through volunteer work.

If students are interested in being involved in building this relationship the first step is to fill out a volunteer interest form. It can be found here:

In Spring 2012, there are nine students interning at GRuB through the SOS: Working with the Land. If they are willing it would be wonderful to collect information about the organization from them to add to our database.
