The Evergreen Student Media Archive is a collection of moving image materials created by students in Evergreen's academic programs, courses and individual learning contracts. The original media materials for ESMA are preserved and available for scholarship in the Stilson Archives complex located in the Evans Library at the Olympia campus. They exist in a variety of formats that include 8mm and 16mm film, VHS and 3/4" Video Tape, Mini DV and DVD. Due to inconsistent labeling, we lack accurate or sufficient information about the contents of many of them. The task of reviewing, organizing and cataloging this collection of work, and making information about contents available on this wiki, is currently underway. We are also in the process of transferring items to more accessible formats and digitizing them for web access.
Several works produced by students can also be viewed on the Gallery page of the Media Arts at Evergreen web site.
