A key element of the library's involvement with the curriculum is the rotating faculty librarian position.

Each year a faculty member who teaches in the organized curriculum rotates into a library faculty line, and a faculty librarian rotates out to teach in the curriculum.

While in the library, the rotating faculty member helps with collection development and learns about the reference interview.

Often, she or he also brushes up on her or his information technology skills.

This is a serious opportunity awarded to a faculty member each year through a juried application process.
