Interested in interning or volunteering at Safeplace? Apply by Feb 15 to take the upcoming 48-hour Safeplace training. This thorough training is required in order to volunteer for helpLine shifts, court volunteering, SARP (Sexual Assault Response & Prevention, walk-in advocacy or childcare at the shelter. Just wanted to send out a little more info about SafePlace’s upcoming
training. The training will run from Feb. 27 – March 15, Monday through
Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm. Volunteers are expected to serve for one
year. Applications are due by Feb. 15, and can be found on our website,

Ideally we are looking for students with education and background in anti-oppression, psychology, trauma, and gender and diversity studies. Students of color, survivors, people of all genders, and LGBTQQIA folks are encouraged to apply.
