(1) Description of the pattern
Mock: to treat with contempt or ridicule, to disappoint the hopes of, to mimic in sport or derision.
Public Space: Areas or structures that are open to the public, commons, collectively owned.
(2) Why the pattern is good (i.e. bad)
These two definitions separately have nothing in common but when you combined them, their meaning is drastically different than the sum of either definition. More to come.
