Communities for a Better Environment is a not for profit organization out of California whose mission is to, "achieve environmental health and justice by building grassroots power in and with communities of color and working-class communities." CBE is highly active within the community and is making great strides towards bettering the environment for the people of California. It was rated the top non-profit in 2010.
