The goal of this game is to develop a community that is intelligently civic while dealing with time and resource limits. Players take on the role of a community member and use the resources that role gives them to attempt to reach community goals as well as personal goals before time runs out.

Potential roles include:
- The Mayor
- The Single Parent
- The Intern
- The Activist
- The College Student
Roles are purposely designed to be ambiguous so that players may easily slip into the roles they select without having to reconcile things like sex, gender, race, or age with their own identity.
