Interests
Lately I've been especially interested in Web Development, Smartphones, Tablets and other mobile technologies. I've always wanted to be able to teleport, perhaps rather than focusing on moving the matter from which consciousness arrises, the focus should be on moving consciousness. Stories and culture move consciousness and it seems humans have been expanding this process more and more as time goes on.
Also I've been thinking a lot about questions like this:
What problems are computers best at solving?
What problems are humans best at solving?
How can we most harmoniously make use of our human and technological resources for the betterment of all? (To be clear, when I say 'all' I am definitely not referring only to humans.)
How can we learn from the wisdom of communities and civilizations of the past while embracing modern technology?
Why does technology so often run ahead of cultures that are able to use it responsibly and what can we do to change that?
How can we as a global culture become prepared for the inevitable revolutions in technology soon to arrive that empower us to save or destroy ourselves?

Regarding Strategic Frame Discussion in Class: I think its really all about the awareness of choice. Knowing that you can choose which frames you're using, simply the awareness is change regardless of if you consciously change your frames or not. It opens you up to choose a frame when you find one you like. And certainly different frames are useful for different circumstances, even if they seem contradictory when compared out-of-context.
I like this quote and while I won't claim to have the same ability, I think its a great ideal to strive for:
If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than 5 minutes. - Albert Einstein
This (youtube) seems particularly relevant to card 43 (International Networks of Alternative Media (43))
Regarding the robot discussion in class:
