Instinct

All creatures in nature have some form of instinct that helps guide them through life. Humankind is no different. A big part of individual intelligence is a persons instinct. By it's nature we don't think about instinct because it just happens. But we all have a natural instinct to survive and to grow both physically and mentally. As instinct is a part of our individual intelligence, it also can play into civic intelligence when groups and communities use their instincts to help guide their knowledge and reasoning.
