Why am I interested in civic intelligence?
I am intrigued by the capacity for groups and societies to respond effectively and equitably to the challenges they face. I am focusing my studies on public policy, and would like to learn how to effectively address the shared problems related to climate change, environmental degradation and economic inequity.
What do I want to accomplish in the program?
I would like to understand the tools necessary to implement positive change on a national and international level. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to do that, so hopefully this class will help me understand how to go about that.
What things might I want to pursue with the game project?
I love to play games, and find it fascinating how the designer can develop a particular experience for the audience thru the game. My personal favorite games are card games, because they are easy to store and typically play. I would like to focus on a political theme of some kind, possibly energy crisis.
