Orientation - Aside from this link being centered around India's societal organization, the idea and "global process" of the World Social Forum is to develop ideas for an alternative future in matters of globalization that "stresses the empowerment of the local" -(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-hegemonic globalization). This approach is known as "counter-hegemonic globalization."

Organization - Annually, there are international conferences that take place, the first being at the idea's headquarters of Porto Alegre, Brazil in 2001. -(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Social_Forum).

Engagement - So far I'm not quite sure how anyone can participate in this, other than contacting a local representative or contributing through the website's actual forums.
