Seeds very similar to Camassia leichtlinii. CAQU slightly smaller that CALEI. Also CALEI is more matte and CAQU tends to be more lustrous. CAQU narrow at hilium end, broadening out to a more rounded opposite end. Seeds have a ridge that runs from hilium to opposite end. Also hilium more conspicuously contrasting seed color in CALEI than in inconspicuous CAQU. Seeds black.
Seeds frequently pitted, glossy, and heavily wrinkled.
