Individual versus collective intelligence

Because society is made up of a bunch of individuals who function with these constituents, it is our belief that the intelligence of a society reflects that of the individual. In other words, the group brain functions the same as an individual brain. People can be seen as synapses in this larger cerebrum. Therefore, the influences and outcomes of these constituents are analogous.
